Short bio
Wannes holds a Master of Laws (University of Ghent, 2020). He is an academic assistant and PhD researcher at the Department Criminology, Criminal Law and Social Law, Faculty of Law at Ghent University. As of 2021, he is a member of the Institute for International Research in Criminal Policy (IRCP), where he assists the courses European Criminal Policy, International Criminal Law and European and International Justice, Home Affairs and Security Policy.
