Short bio
Silke is a PhD researcher at the Department of Criminology, Criminal Law and Social Law of the Faculty of Law and Criminology at the University of Ghent. She obtained her Master’s degree in Law in 2026 at the University of Ghent. Her doctoral research under the supervision of Prof. dr. Stéphanie De Coensel focusses on the shift in criminal justice towards anticipation across temporal, institutional and procedural dimensions.
