Short bio
Lampros K. Kottis holds an LL.B from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, an LL.M in Global Criminal Law from University of Groningen (the Netherlands) and will obtain a MSc in Law and Information and Communication Technologies by University of Peiraius (Greece). Lampros is also a qualified lawyer in Greece and a certified Data Protection Officer (DPO) . He has worked as a lawyer in Greece for two years, focusing on complying businesses with the GDPR and also on criminal law cases. His thesis concerned the cross border access to electronical evidence, by examining the European E-evidence Act and the American Cloud Act comparatively . Lampros is mainly interested in AI and Law, Cybersecurity and Criminal Justice, the flow of European citizens’ data to third countries and new technologies seen from a legal perspective.
