Short bio
Gwen Herkes has a Master in Criminological Sciences and in Business Economics (Management of Public Organisations). She currently works as HRM & logistics director at TARL local police. She is an academic assistant (10%) of prof. dr. Antoinette Verhage in courses on the topics of police, policing and integrity in the bachelor and master of Criminology at Ghent University. She is a member of the Institute for International Research on Criminal Policy (IRCP) within the Department of Criminology, Criminal Law and Social Law of the Faculty of Law and Criminology at Ghent University.
