Short bio
Amandine Vanscheeuwijck obtained the degree of Master in Science in Criminological Sciences in 2022. She graduated magna cum laude from Ghent University, and is currently working as a PhD researcher at the Institute for International Research on Criminal Policy (IRCP) at Ghent University, under the supervision of Prof. dr. Marc Cools, Prof. dr. Tom Vander Beken and Prof. dr. Jacques de Maillard. Through her research, Amandine examines the tendencies of privatisation across the criminal justice systems in Belgium and France.
