Short bio
Rein Struyve is a researcher at the Institute for International Research on Criminal Policy (IRCP). He holds a Master of Science degree in Criminology obtained in 2019, and a master’s degree in Political Sciences with a specialization in European Studies obtained in 2022, both from Ghent University. His research focuses on sports-related crime, the security of sports facilities, and the prevention of fraud in sports. Regarding this last topic, Rein’s research takes place within the framework of the PrOFS (Prevention of Fraud in Sports) Project.
