Short bio

Nathan graduated with a Master’s in Law from Ghent University in 2015 and began his career as a lawyer. He specialized in health law, focusing on medical liability, and pursued additional training in Health Law and Ethics at the University of Antwerp (2016), Human Damage Assessment at KU Leuven (2022), and IT and Data Protection in Healthcare at the University of Antwerp (2023). Today he is part of the GIBBIS team as a legal advisor, providing legal support in health law to hospitals, mental health care, nursing homes, and other care institutions.

Nathan also teaches at SYNTRA WEST, covering RIZIV regulations, healthcare, and medical registration for Medical Management Assistant students. In 2024, he started as a teaching assistant for Prof. Dr. Griet Verhenneman in the Department of Criminology, Criminal Law, and Social Law at Ghent University.
