Short bio
Dr. Janneke Schokkenbroek (PhD in Communication Sciences and Criminological Sciences) is postdoctoral researcher at the AI Futures Lab on Rights and Justice at Delft University of Technology and at Inholland University of Applied Sciences, in the Netherlands. Additionally, she is a voluntary member of the Institute for International Research on Criminal Policy (IRCP) and at the research group for Media, Innovation and Contemporary Technologies (imec-mict) at Ghent University. Her research focuses on harmful technology use in romantic relationships (e.g., ghosting, catfishing, electronic partner surveillance) and on vulnerability to harm on social media.
