Short bio

While in the past two years my research has focused on Mining governance, mining conflicts management… being involved in different research projects in collaboration with the University of Antwerp, the University of Michigan ; the University of Lubumbashi…, my current research for the Phd focuses on Mining conflicts and Nodal governance of security in DR Congo (in the cobalt supply chain of Haut Katanga and Lualaba provinces). I am interested in understanding the dynamics of conflicts and security incidents and the role of community actors (mining cooperatives) in providing security.
