Short bio

Emma De Caluwé holds a Master of Criminology (University of Ghent, 2023). She is an academic assistant and PhD researcher at the Department of Criminology, Criminal Law and Social Law of the Faculty of Law and Criminology at the University of Ghent. She assists Prof. dr. Charlotte Colman in courses such as drug policy, criminology of the criminal justice system, and sociology of law. As of 2023 she is a member of the Institute for International Research in Criminal Policy (IRCP), where she is conducting a doctoral research on youth involvement in organised drug crime under the supervision of Prof. dr. Charlotte Colman.
