Short bio
Catherine Monbailliu is an academic researcher at the Faculty of Law and Criminology of Ghent University. She attained a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work at the Karel de Grote Hogeschool in Antwerp in 2017 and a Master’s Degree in Criminology at Ghent University in 2020. She is currently involved as a researcher at the Department of Criminology, Criminal Law and Social Law and works on a European project that aims to strengthen the cooperation between law enforcement agencies in the EU and other public/private partners by creating a barrier model to prevent motor vehicle/motor vehicle parts theft by mobile organized crime groups.
