Short bio

Audry Delvaux holds a Master of Laws from Leuven University (2013, Magna Cum Laude). During her studies she specialized in criminal law. Prior to her current position, she was a junior lawyer at the Leuven bar and an acadamic assistant responsible for the course ‘Criminal Law’ at the universities of Leuven and Hasselt. She also participated in the “VALCRI project” (Visual Analytics for sense-making in Criminal Intelligence Analysis) of the European Commission (2014-2016) as a researcher at the Centre for IT and IP law (KU Leuven).

Audry is part of the Institute of International Research on Criminal Policy since July 2017 both as a teaching assistant (criminal law) and as a researcher.

Currently she is focusing on ‘small scale detention’ as she is doing research concerning assistance and services for detainees in the first ‘detention house’ in Belgium (ESF-project).
