Short bio

Maud De Meyer holds a Master of Criminology (University of Ghent, 2020). She is a PhD researcher at the Department of Criminology, Criminal Law and Social Law of the Faculty of Law and Criminology (University of Ghent) and is a member of  the Institute for International Research on Criminal Policy (IRCP). Her doctoral research focuses on the role of desistance capital in the desistance process of Belgian drug couriers involved in the Belgian drug retail market.
