Short bio

Liselotte Rooryck holds a Master’s degree in Law (Ghent University, 2021) and is currently exploring the field of Criminological Sciences. In addition to her studies she is conducting research concerning art crime (focus on NFT’s) for the 69th special issue of the Cahiers Inlichtingenstudies/Cahiers d’études du renseignement at the Department of Criminology, Criminal Law and Social Law of the Faculty of Law and Criminology at Ghent University. Within the IRCP she is researching  the unnecessary intervention of police services in case of false alarms within private security under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Marc Cools and Dr. Pieter Leloup.
